Performs advanced computer systems support work in an office and field settings. Work involves troubleshooting and/or providing the first-line assistance for operational problems of agency information technology systems and operating automated office equipment in a standalone, network, and Windows Server Environment. Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 required. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

STATE CLASSIFICATION POSITION: GENERAL COUNSEL IV CLASS CODE 3524 SALARY GROUP: B32 ($129,121 - $218,376)
Duties involve interpreting laws, regulations, and rules, preparing legal documents, and rendering legal advice and counsel. Work involves directing and planning the agency's legal activities; consulting with attorneys; preparing cases for hearings or trial; coordinating the drafting and negotiation of contracts; drafting and monitoring legislation related to the agency's strategic plan and legislative appropriations request; and support the agency's compliance matters related to the Sunset Advisory Commission. Work is performed under limited direction, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
